TV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) will mark the thirteenth and final series of their long-running crime drama, Poirot, by welcoming the star of the successful crime series, David Suchet, to MIPTV.
Produced by ITV Studios, Poirot series 13 (5x120’) will debut this MIPTV, bringing the number of episodes available to the international market place to 71. ITVS GE will celebrate the series’ Grand Finale by bringing David Suchet, who has played Hercule Poirot in all 13 series, to meet press and international broadcasters in Cannes.
Series 13 will premiere on ITV throughout 2013 and 2014.

Based on crime writer Agatha Christie’s famous novels, series 13 of Poirot has been acquired by eight broadcasters worldwide: TMC (France), ABC (Australia), Prime (New Zealand), Chungwa (Taiwan), Latvian Television, RTV (Slovenia), HRT (Croatia), Sanoma (Hungary) and Digiturk (Turkey). WGBH in the US will co- produce and air two of the Poirot films – The Big Four and Dead Man’s Folly. The deals were brokered by David Wilcox, VP North West Cluster; Jennifer Ebell, VP South East Cluster; Nancy Wang, Senior Sales Executive, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan; Dan Edwards, Senior Sales Executive, Australia and Jemma Losh, Sales Executive, New Zealand for ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

Es gibt mal wieder Neues: mittlerweile ist man beim Drehen bei "The Labours" angelangt. Die Schauspielerin Orla Brady hat verraten, daß sie eine russische Gräfin spielt. Da dürften wir uns wohl auf Vera Rossakov freuen! Orla Brady sieht auf den Fotos verboten jung aus, ist aber schon 52! Sie muß ja altersmäßig zumindest ein bißchen zu Poirot passen.

ich find, sie sieht der Schauspielerin aus The Double Clue sehr sehr ähnlich!

SEHR schöne Neuigkeiten! Ich hatte schon bfürchtet, dass wir die Gräfin nicht mehr zu Gesicht bekommen. Bei Big Four ist sie aber nicht dabei oder?

Ich war bei den Dreharbeiten bei einer der Schlußszenen dabei. Da gab es keine Gräfin Rossakov. Es war auch nicht klar, ob sie überhaupt darin mitspielt. Ich fürchte eher nicht.

allerdings ist er bis 29.05.2013 nicht für die presse UND public domain veröffentlichung gedacht..aus irgendnem grund!
wer den link haben will muss daher warten? hab ich so auch noch nicht erlebt *lach*

"Elephants can remember" hat am Sonntag in 1 Woche Premiere auf itv/itv hd.
David Suchet will return as Hercule Poirot on Sunday 9 June at 8pm, ITV has confirmed. This latest mystery, a dramatisation of Agatha Christie’s Elephants Can Remember, will see Greta Scacchi, Iain Glen and Vanessa Kirby among the guest cast, while Zoe Wanamaker reprises her role as mystery writer Ariadne Oliver.

In this feature length film David is joined by a stellar cast that includes: Emmy award winner Greta Scacchi (Brideshead Revisited, Broken Trail, Rasputin), Iain Glen (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey), Vincent Regan (Strike Back, Scott & Bailey, Hit & Miss), Ferdinand Kingsley (Van Gogh: Painted with Words, The Hollow Crown) and Vanessa Kirby (Labyrinth, Great Expectations).
Also making a return to the cast is the award winning stage and television actress Zoë Wanamaker (My Family, The Cherry Orchard, My Week with Marilyn) who reprises her role as Mrs Ariadne Oliver.
Elephants Can Remember is scripted by the BAFTA winning writer Nick Dear, whose recent credits include the 2011 adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein for the National Theatre. It is directed by John Strickland (Mr Selfridge, Whitechapel, Bedlam) and produced by David Boulter (Whitechapel, He Kills Coppers, The Forsyte Saga).

Was???? Am 9. Juni schon?? Ich hab fest damit gerechnet, dass die Austrahlung der Filme erst im Winter beginnt. Sehr sehr sehr schöne Nachrichten! Danke Japp!!
